What’s good, La Familia???
I hope you all had a safe but fun Labor Day weekend! It was pretty much quiet on the western front with the lone exception being FTLCF this week. Lets take a dive in to our brief recap and look ahead towards our much anticipated rematch vs FC Tucson.
FORT LAUDERDALE CF
Chattanooga Red Wolves SC Review:
Fort Lauderdale 0 - Red Wolves SC- 0
So lets be clear. Both teams had an abysmal night on offense but in two different ways. FTLCF had at least four good chances to take this game by the scruff of the neck but they were unable to muster the magic needed to do so. Most of their opportunities were directly in front of goal and just required a tap in. Our boys either passed it right to the keeper or were unable to get proper hold on it to finish it off.
Chattanooga on the other hand could not hit the broad side of a barn. There were times where Drake was in a very precarious position but the boots of the Red Wolves offense blasted the ball into orbit. Its a shame too because there was a lot of beautiful play that went unrewarded (on both sides) and could have made this match an instant classic, run and gun affair.

Yellow Card: Jackson Dietrich (15th min), Aime Mabika (21st minute), Noah Allen (94th min)
Than’s Man of the Match:
Drake Callendar- Drake had himself a game! He kept a clean sheet while facing 17 shots with 7 on target. Drake also had to deal with 7 corners from a prowling Red Wolves offense that was looking to secure three points. This performance also earned Drake a spot on the USL League One Team of the Week. Congrats, Drake!!
FC Tucson Preview
FTLCF will be out for blood after an absolute shellacking during the last meeting between these two teams. FTLCF has turned it around but will need to continue their run of form in order to keep control of their own destiny.
Date/Time: Saturday September 11th, @ 10:00pm

Prediction:
As previously stated, FTLCF will be out for blood. With that being said, I think we will see a cagey affair that will result in a high amount of chances for both sides. Three points for either team at this point in the season could really help solidify their place as a playoff team. FC Tucson has had a better run of form as of late but FTLCF has followed poor performances with some phenomenal performances. I think we will see….
Fort Lauderdale 3 - FC Tucson 2
